It’s not only a good way to relieve stress and frustration, but it may actually help to make you happier because practicing martial arts releases endorphins and serotonin that improve your mood and confidence.

​Martial arts is not only great physical exercise, but it is also an excellent exercise of the mind. Martial Artists have sharper focus, improved mental reflexes and enhanced cognitive clarity. ​Self Defense training is like insurance, you’re glad you have it when you need it. Our simple and pragmatic approach to self-defense will have you reacting effectively in the shortest possible time. Repetition develops skill. Simplicity minimizes hesitation and mistakes. Using the best weapons, on the most vulnerable targets, as quickly as possible, are what our students are conditioned to do.

COMMUNITY

​Studies show that exercising in a group class helps your motivation because you don’t feel like you are working out all alone and you are more likely to stick to achieving your goals. You will have an instructor who acts as a personal trainer to encourage and motivate you and your classmates. There is something about being in a community that helps to spur you on and you can look forward to the social aspect of being in a class.
