and Owner, Cristian Nelson

Master Cristian Nelson

Master Cristian Nelson, an 8th Degree Black Belt, is the school director and owner. He opened the National Karate of Elk Grove / Roselle location in 1995.

With over 40 years of teaching experience, Master Nelson continues to lead classes, sharing his passion for martial arts and instilling discipline in each student.

Master Nelson’s hands-on approach makes learning karate both effective and rewarding. He says, “I still have as much fun teaching martial arts today as I did when I taught my first class!”

Mr. Sonny Manaloto

Mr. Sonny Manaloto, a 4th Degree Black Belt, has been dedicated to martial arts since the age of six, combining elite competition experience with nearly a decade of teaching. As Head Instructor at National Karate’s Elk Grove/Roselle school, he fosters a fun, supportive environment, inspiring students of all ages to build confidence, discipline, and skill.

Mr. Reginald Wilkins

Mr. Reginald Wilkins, a 5th Degree Black Belt with 20 years of teaching experience, is known for his high-energy, motivating approach that balances fun and discipline. As an instructor at National Karate’s South Elgin, Bartlett, Elk Grove & Roselle locations, he inspires students of all ages while continuously advancing his own martial arts journey, aiming to become a school director.

Mr. Logan Harbaugh

Mr. Logan Harbaugh, a 4th Degree Black Belt with 15 years of teaching experience, brings energy, encouragement, and discipline to National Karate of Roselle. His dynamic approach makes training both enjoyable and effective, helping students build confidence, respect, and a lifelong passion for martial arts.

Mr. Brian Fieri

Mr. Brian Fieri, known as the school’s “grandfather,” is a 5th Degree Black Belt who sets a shining example of staying active and healthy at any age. His positive, encouraging presence enriches our Elk Grove / Roselle martial arts community.
