Colin O’Brien wins 1st Place in 4 Different Events at the 2017 AKA Grands!
He won the Sparring division, Creative Weapons, Musical Open Hand, and Extreme Weapons! He also finished Top 10 World Ranking in 5 Different Events! (Extreme Form, Extreme Weapons, Musical Weapon Forms, Musical Open Hand Form & Fighting). It takes a special athelete to be be able to compete at the World level in both Fighting and Form! He also earned a spot on the “Team Smashers” competition team that competes in the largest tournaments in North America.
Another one of his accomplishments this year is earning his 2nd Degree Black Belt at our Exam in January 2017. He is 11 years old and attends the Aurora and Bartlett National Karate Schools.
